PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO SEE WHAT WE HAVE LINED UP FOR YOU
THE MASKED BALL
We all like dancing and dressing up, particularly at camp, so we thought a Masked Ball might be a good idea.
Don’t worry about bringing a mask unless you want something really special as we shall hold a mask making workshop beforehand and by then we will have worked out some dance routines suitable for the period.
Why stop at just a mask, Masquerade Balls went the whole hog and full costumes were popular from the macabre to to the angelic – it’s up to you ?
CRICKET ON THE GREEN
You can expect the thwack of leather on willow ( well tennis ball and an old cricket bat ) as we indulge in an afternoon of cricketing fun supervised by our well known umpire. Please do not offend him by offering him bribes as he is above reproach when wearing his Whites
Polite applause is welcomed for all sixes struck but please no chanting or pitch invasions at least until the last ball has been bowled.
Cream Teas and sandwiches will be served
On the last day of camp after the early closing circle we shall provide a free communal feast for everyone who is able to attend. This meal is more than just lunch it is a feast to celebrate our community coming together before we go our separate ways and until we can meet up together again as a larger group.
