Looking for tribe? Look no further. You’ve found us!
SUMMER CAMP is an eclectic, joyous, life enhancing gathering which happens every year in the Forest of Dean.
We believe in tribe. We love to come together every year to live in community – and to be the change we want to see in the world. If you’re looking for a place to make life-long friends, somewhere for your children to run freely, and the chance to grow and connect with yourself and others, – then Summer Camp is your place.
We would LOVE you to join us for 11 days of workshops, music, dancing and creativity, yoga, health and wellbeing, celebration and ritual, inspiration, joy and laughter! We have workshops to tantalise and intrigue you. There’s nightly campfires and star gazing to mesmerise and delight you. Join in as much, or as little as you would like. Just come and be free. Free to be your totally authentic self.
The practical stuff!
We’re a genuinely family friendly event. From babies, to kids, to tweens and teens right through to elders of the tribe – there’s something for everyone.
This year we have a lush new site in Rock & Fountain Lane near Westbury on Severn. We’re blown away by our luck in getting it. It’s flat and sheltered, so great for tents and vans. To fit with our low impact ethos there’s eco toilets, wood-fired showers and sauna. And most excitingly this year we have a gorgeous brand new vegetarian café run by the most stupendous cook – we are literally bursting with excitement about this! New this year too is a cosy Chai bar to hang out in late into the night.
Useful to know ;
We camp in circles (or on your own if you like!) with welcoming central fires for you to cook and socialise around.
Near access to local shops. Chaxhill smokery and nearby Spar in walking distance. We encourage lift sharing to local towns
On site vegetarian café
On site Chai bar with raw chocolate snacks, and other delicious delights
